Now: 479 green startups in the Swedish Climate Startup Map
We proudly announce the latest edition of the Swedish Climate Startup Map. Today the map showcases 479 environmental startups and scale-ups – 60 of them being Sting alumni. This makes Sting the leading incubator within ClimateTech.
The Swedish Climate Startup Map was initiated by Sting in 2020 and relaunched earlier this year together with Chalmers Ventures, Dalarna Science Park, Ignite Sweden, LEAD, and SISP. The map aims to give ClimateTech startups a launchpad and the recognition needed to raise capital and find strategic partnerships that enable them to grow.
The selected companies are developing innovative solutions with the potential to drive the green transition across various sectors such as agriculture, construction, energy, forestry, manufacturing, transportation, waste, and water.
In the latest update of the map, made in June 2023, 58 additional startups and scale-ups were added to the map. Out of the 479 companies, Sting has 60 startups represented and is proud to be recognized as the leading incubator within ClimateTech among the many great incubators and accelerators in the Nordics. The recent Sting company added were IPercept Technology.

Behind the Swedish Climate Startup Map
The Swedish Climate Startup Map was initiated by Sting in 2020 as part of Startup Climate Action, funded by Vinnova, to showcase startups working towards creating change and solving climate challenges. Chalmers Ventures, Dalarna Science Park, Ignite Sweden, LEAD, SISP Swedish Incubators & Science Parks, and Sting now lead the initiative.
