Big names invests in programmatic company Match2One
STING company Match2One, which makes life easier for advertisers, raises more than 3 million SEK from several experienced investors in Stockholm, London and Sydney. Among the investors are names like Cint-founder Bo Mattsson and Nepa-founder Ulrich Boyer.
Match2One has developed a self-service platform that makes it easier for small and medium-sized advertisers to create display, mobile and video advertising campaigns, also known as programmatic advertising. Programmatic is a relatively new way to buy digital advertising and has grown in both size and sophistication in recent years, creating high barriers to entry for smaller and medium-sized advertisers. This is what Match2One solves. The company’s global reach covers all types of screens, channels and ad formats, such as Google’s ad network, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn.
– Programmatic should be simple and transparent. Through artificial intelligence and machine-learning algorithms, we find patterns in consumer behavior, and based on that, where the next ad will appear, at which time and through which channel are determined automatically. This is incredibly valuable for our customers, which are mainly small and medium-sized companies in e-commerce, because they can automatically target ads more efficiently and more quickly achieve their campaign goals, says Michael Krueger, co-founder and CEO of Match2One.
There is a heavy investor group that invests in the company, including Bo Mattsson, founder of Cint which was recently sold, Ulrich Boyer, founder of Nepa, Fredrik Månsson, founder of Emric and Hyper Island, Petter Lindström and Vicki Potts (Sydney) and two investors in London whose names the founders cannot reveal at the time.
– Match2One has a solid technical solution, which closes the gap between buyers and sellers and allows for extreme agility in communication at a userfriendly, easy way, pretty much anywhere. Along with the new investors, the team has a good foundation from which to grow and quickly scale up. I am convinced that they will soon play a major role in the global media industry, says Bo Mattsson, one of the investors in the company.
Match2One’s team consists of eight employees located in Stockholm, Kiev and London, and since February the company is part of the STING accelerator program. With new capital and strengthened competence, Match2One is now increasingly focusing on accelerating growth, especially in Sweden and England, as well as to complement the team with at least four new developers. Match2One’s service is available today as a beta-release and is released publicly later this year.
