Martin Hauge, Venture Partner at Creandum, joins Aifloo as Partner and Chairman of the Board

Martin Hauge joins Aifloo, a start-up provider of intelligent home care technologies, as partner and chairman of the board. Since 2004 Martin Hauge has been General Partner at Creandum – a leading Scandinavian venture capital company. Creandum is well known for its investments in companies like Spotify, iZettle and Vivino.

Aifloo Smart Care is the next generation of home care and medical alert-systems for the elderly and persons with disabilities. The system creates advanced behavioral analysis and sends automatic alerts to an emergency center and/or relatives via smartphone apps when assistance is required. It also supports security and enables prolonged independent living.

– Aifloo is a new and highly interesting high-tech startup, says Martin Hauge. Timing is essential for new ventures and the time for intelligent home-care is now. We are facing a huge demographic change and I think everyone is interested in improving the situation and the home environment of our parents and grand parents.

– With Martin on-board we don´t only get the investors point of view, but Martin is also very good at understanding what creates customer value. We think he’s the perfect chairman for Aifloo, says Michael Collaros, CEO and co-founder of Aifloo. It’s fantastic to have someone as experienced as Martin share our vision for the potential and value of Artificial Intelligence and ”big data” within healthcare.

Aifloo develops advanced self-learning artificial intelligence for the Internet of Things (IoT). The artificial intelligence (AI) is inspired by neuroscience and biological processes. Aifloo’s goal is to provide self-learning artificial intelligence that facilitates and enhances the quality of life for the end consumer. The result is services based on advanced analytical and behavioral models.

Aifloo is a start-up company based in Stockholm, Sweden. The company was accepted to the STING Incubate program on 1 June, 2015. STING was recently appointed as one of the 5 best university incubators in the world.
