Help build the Internet of Things! EIT ICT Labs is launching a pan-European Idea Challenge to give people with great, innovative ideas the opportunity to take them to the next step. An impressive jury will decide which of the ten finalists will win €40 000, €25 000 and €15 000 and support from the EIT ICT Labs extensive network of experts. The pitch final will take place in Kista, Stockholm on November 13.

We are in the beginning of a new era of the Internet with devices connected. The impact on the community, businesses and peoples lives will be as big as when we started using Internet.

The contest is open to all creative individuals, entrepreneurs and innovators across Europe, and ideas can submitted September 1-30 on the competition website.

The IoT Idea Challenge jury consists of:
Jane Walerud, Serial Tech Entrepreneur and Angel Investor
Tarja zu dem Berge, CEO ALMI Invest Småland och Öarna
Marlène Sellebråten, Editor-in-chief Mobil:Business
Erik Ramberg, CEO Springworks
Henrik Abramowicz, Ericsson Research and EIT ICT Labs IoT Action Line Leader
Gunnar Landgren, EIT ICT Labs Node Director, Stockholm

The EIT ICT Labs Idea Challenge covers eight trending tech areas with finals taking place in eight European cities. In each area, three winners are announced. For more information about the Idea Challenge, visit www.ideachallenge.eitictlabs.eu.
