With help from their readers’, Svenska Dagbladet together with Carnegie will for the second year appoint “Entreprenör of the Future”. Picture My Life is one of the 10 companies that compete for the coveted title.

Picture My Life develops digital, image-based tools for children with neuropsychiatric disabilities and for their parents and teachers. The tools on their website include a digital diary that simplifies communication between the home and the school. The idea was born out of a personal experience as one of the four founders has a son with Down’s syndrome.

– It is a great recognition of our business idea. It shows that our company has great potential to grow and attract investors. The competition also gives us a unique opportunity to promote our platform, says Yvonne Malmström Grimme, CEO of Picture My Life.

The competition is a collaboration between Svenska Dagbladet and Carnegie. Each contestant is being presented in a short movie on SvD’s website and readers can vote for their favorite once a day until the end of October. Five companies go through to the finals in November where they will pitch to investors and convince them to invest in their businesses. The winner will be appointed ”Entrepreneur of the Future” and will receive complementary financial advice by Carnegie.
