Main partners

Stockholm County Council

The County Council is responsible for all publicly-financed healthcare and public transport in Stockholm County. The County Council is also responsible for other overall issues within the county, such as regional planning and cultural subsidies. Stockholm – Sweden's leading region.

KTH

The Royal Institute of Technology, also known as KTH, is Sweden's largest technical university. Since STING started in Kista, the cooperation with KTH been very central and comprehensive. STING is an integral part of the KTH innovation system, and since 2005 we operate an incubator at the KTH campus Valhallavagen in Stockholm. The business was taken over by KTH Starthus.

Vinnova

Vinnova promotes sustainable growth by funding needs-driven research and stimulating collaborations between companies, universities, research institutes and the public sector. Vinnova manages programs for strengthening Sweden’s innovativeness. The programs have different focus and cover several areas of society and industries. Some of them involve funding of research, others involve companies applying for funds for their development projects.

Swedbank is a Swedish bank with both private, corporate and institutional clients. In collaboration with STING, the bank offers STING companies a "Better Business package" free-of-charge for one year (900 SEK/year). The Better Business Swedbank has gathered its best and most useful services for people who run businesses.

Brann

Brann is a full-service agency in intellectual property rights and commercial law. Agency consultants offer STING companies (both currently in the incubator and alumnus) two hours free consultation in intellectual property, and provides subsidized prices for novelty search, patent and trademark applications and IP workshops.

Delphi

Delphi is one of Sweden's leading business law firms. It offers STING entrepreneurs (both incubator and alumni companies) free consultation of up to two hours, general discount of 20% on hourly rates (alumni companies offered 10% ), access to Delphi's comprehensive seminars free of charge and are offered a fixed price for most types of contracts needed for a company in its initial stage.

EdmarLAW

The law firm EdmarLaw assists IT companies and technology intensive businesses, and has expertise since 20 years in IT Law, Contract Law, Intellectual Property Law and E-commerce. EdmarLaw drafts and negotiates a number of types of agreements in the IT field, or agreements relating to intellectual property rights. Its founder Malin Edmar has i.a. worked at Microsoft’s headquarters for four years, providing legal advice in product development, product launches, and the launch of online services. We help STING companies draft agreements and terms of use, analyze and review agreements, as well as assist in negotiations and provide advice in legal matters. This is provided at a heavy discount exclusively for STING companies, in addition to two hours of free advice.

PwC

PwC is the market leader in the auditing and consulting. Exclusive to all STING companies is that PwC offers free advice (worth 5000 SEK) and their business package at no charge during the first year of a user (worth 3600 SEK).
