Signal Signal, a “Google Alerts” for spoken media, helps its customers to identify brand ambassadors and analyze mentions in podcasts, radio, television and Youtube channels. Having had success in sales and customer acquisition, the company now closes a successful investment round. The raised capital will be used to recruit sales talent and take the product to additional markets.
The service is used by companies such as Bauer Media, Länsförsäkringar, Max Hamburgare and Norstedts. In addition, the company has entered into partnership agreements with the leading text-based media monitoring services Meltwater, Mbrain and Notified.
– We were overwhelmed by the interest from marketing managers of Sweden’s most prominent brands. Now it’s time to gear up our the sales team, our technology, and our international expansion, to take Signal Signal to the next level, says Tor Rauden Källstigen, co-founder and CEO of Signal Signal.
– It feels fantastic that such prominent business angels have chosen to be a part of our journey and to strengthen the company with both know-how and financial capacity, says Håkan Waara, co-founder and technical manager of Signal Signal.
Looking for sales representatives and marketers
In order to meet the strong market interest, Signal Signal is recruiting three new sales representatives as well as a marketing manager.
– We’re building the data-driven sales organization of tomorrow, creating leads directly out of our own data from the spoken media landscape. The first sales representatives and marketers who join us on this exciting journey will be experienced individuals with niche industry skills. We want to quickly accelerate our turnover and lay the foundation for our future organization, says Robin Tuorda, Head of Sales at Signal Signal.
