E-health company Aifloo has entered into a partnership with the leading Scandinavian healthcare provider Aleris. They will jointly develop a modern and safe system for care and support of independent living for the elderly. This fall, the system will be put through extensive trials, which will be verified together with medical professionals in nursing and assisted living.
– Technology development creates new opportunities for Aleris to reach our goals to support elderly to live an active, independent and confident life. We want to contribute by giving the innovators the possibility to try their ideas in an everyday environment in order for the technology to be aligned with the needs of the elderly. What we particularly appreciate with Aifloo is their genuine passion for the older persons and their situation. We also appreciate their aspirations to create a cost-effective service for households”, says Elisabet Keussen, Business Development Manager at Aleris Care.
Aifloo recently raised 12 million SEK, mainly from existing owners and the new shareholder Länsförsäkringar. In combination with the Aleris partnership, there is an excellent basis for a continued development and international expansion.
– Thanks to the cooperation with Aleris we are able to verify and refine our solutions. We are extremely pleased that Aleris sees the potential in the system, says Michael Collaros, CEO of Aifloo.
