Selfiejobs today launched a service that allows job seekers and employers to quickly find each other via smartphones. Social media and dating apps like Tinder have made users expect to quickly find vacancies, get connected with employers and get feedback. SelfieJobs is based on short video presentations uploaded by both job seekers and employers, as well as other technologies to create matches.
− Our goal is to greatly simplify the process for both job seekers and employers. A professional application should only take two seconds. We make that possible through short video presentations where job seekers and employers present themselves, says Martin Tall, CEO and founder of SelfieJobs.
Talent & Partners are specialists in recruitment within media and sales and conduct over 1000 interviews per year. The company is one of the first to have job listings in the service.
− SelfieJobs simplifies our whole application and assessment process, says Sabine Andersdotter, CEO and founder of Talent & Partners.
SelfieJobs is a time-saving tool that allows applicants’ attitude and personality complement formal qualifications. In conjunction with the launch, the company gets a 1 MSEK investment from, among others, Jan-Eric Ramberg, angel investor and formerly at Microsoft.
− Only in Sweden, hundreds of thousands of recruitments are carried out every year. The service lowers the thresholds for both job seekers and employers, and will expand to other countries soon, says Jan-Eric Ramberg.
SelfieJobs is free for job seekers.
