mySafety Försäkringar, the Nordic region’s leading player in ID protection insurance, will work with cybersecurity company Defentry to offer its customers protection against ID hijacking and other types of fraud.

Last year, 166,000 Swedes had their identities hijacked and a full 2.2 million were subjected to attempts*. This means that ID hijacking continues to be one of Sweden’s most common crimes.

mySafety Försäkringar offers complete ID protection that includes surveillance, personal assistance, legal assistance, legal aid and financial compensation for the victim. Now mySafety is using Defentry to update the surveillance feature, which includes oversight of the customer’s identity, around the clock, around the world, both on the public web and the deep web and dark web. mySafety customers will also get an updated customer experience through new user interfaces from Defentry’s ID security platform GNA.
